"Dear Sir,
It has come to
the knowledge of the Chamber that Notices / Orders are being issued by Regional
Tax Office Sialkot against exporters on the issue of unauthorized availing of
Zero Rated Facility on Electricity Bills during the period from July 2016 to
June 2018, either due to absence or suspension / withdrawal of the
notification.
This Chamber is
collecting information regarding all such Notices / Orders issued by the Tax
Department to the exporters of Sialkot. If you have received any such Notice /
Order, you are requested to provide information to this Chamber, so that the
matter could be taken up with the Department to seek necessary relief.
It is further
apprised that remedy against Orders passed by the Department could be sought
only in Appeal; hence, members against whom Orders have already been passed
should file their Appeals within the statutory time limit to avoid
inconvenience."
